How do I download NEOS?
To download the software click here or go to the home page and click 'Place an Order', 'Free Software then choose the version that best fits your needs.

What is the difference between NEOS Pro and NEOS Light+ Raw?
NEOS Pro has all the available features and has requires more memory to run.  Recommended for all photographer with newer computers.
NEOS Light + Raw is a stripped down version of NEOS pro and doesn't need as much memory to run.  This version will also except raw camera files.  NEOS Light + Raw is recommended for older computer systems and the novice computer user. 

Why are NEOS prints less expensive than prints ordered from CD?
The NEOS system feeds your images and order data directly into our lab's central system and printing devices. This cuts down on a lot of front end labor at the lab making it possible for us to offer the same great print quality for significantly lower prices. Be assured, orders places with NEOS are printed on the same high quality Kodak papers using the same state-of-the art equipment as orders places at the lab via CD. What is the Packager?
The Packager allows the photographer to define their own packages from the products offered by the lab. Photographers can create various package groups, then create packages by dragging products from the lab catalog palette into the My Packages palette.

What is the Template Tool?
The Template Tool is a powerful tool allowing the photographer to completely modify specified products for there own needs. Nodes can be moved, added, deleted, resized or rotated. Fonts and font colors can be changed. The photographer can even create there own templates and order them right from NEOS.

What is the Presenter?
The Presenter is a must have for studios to aid in sales presentations to their clients. It offers side-by-side image comparision, image sorting, and a slide show with optional music.

What is Records?
The Records module is great for importing large events into NEOS pro using a csv or text file. No manual navigation is needed. Just define your packages in records, point to the text file and images, check for mistakes and press start. In a few minutes instead of hours, you are ready to send the order to the lab for printing.

Fonts
You will need to download the fonts to view the font as it will be printed.  You can use your own fonts if you are using the template tool.

How to make a shortcut on the desktop?
After the initial install, a shortcut should be created on your desktop. If there is no shortcut on your desktop,

For Windows XP or 2000, click on the Start button (in windows), click on run... then type in javaws.exe, and press enter. Right click on the NEOS icon and install shortcuts.

For Windows Vista, click on the Start button (in windows), click on all programs, accessories, run... then type in javaws -viewer, and press enter. Right click on the NEOS icon and install shortcuts.

For Mac, Go into the hard drive of the MAC, go to the Applications folder then the Utilities folder and then the Java folder. In the Java folder should be an icon for the Java Web Start. Double click this icon. This will bring up the Java Web Start cache window. Find the NEOS Application, highlight it and then under the Application pulldown select Install Shortcuts.
